FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most from allocators and crypto-native users.

What is QMC?

We provide the framework that enables institutional portfolio managers to launch on-chain investment products without rebuilding their operational stack. Every strategy is delivered through its own dedicated vault, while research, risk management, vault operations, compliance and independent oversight remain off-chain and institutional.

Investors deposit stablecoins into a strategy, receive vault shares representing their participation, and redeem according to each strategy’s liquidity terms.

The result combines the operational discipline of institutional investing with the accessibility, transparency and global distribution of blockchain networks.

How does the strategy generate uncorrelated yield?

Each vault on QMC Finance follows its own investment strategy, defined by its respective manager. Some focus on market-neutral or relative-value opportunities, while others pursue directional, quantitative, or income-generating approaches across digital assets.

The objective and return profile therefore depend on the specific vault you choose. Every vault includes detailed information about its strategy, risk framework, historical performance, and manager, allowing you to make informed investment decisions before depositing.

What do I need to connect my wallet?

QMC Finance supports any standard EVM-compatible wallet, including MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, Ledger (via WalletConnect), and most WalletConnect-enabled wallets.

Connecting your wallet does not require creating an account. Simply connect your wallet, review the vault details, and approve transactions directly onchain.

Your wallet always remains under your control. QMC Finance never has access to your private keys and will never ask you to transfer ownership of your wallet.

How is the capital custody?

QMC Finance supports both custodial and non-custodial vault structures, depending on the specific strategy and operational requirements.

Each vault has its own custody model, investment strategy, risk parameters, and documentation, allowing users to evaluate and select the approach that best fits their objectives.

For every vault, users can review:

  • Custody model
  • Smart contract addresses (where applicable)
  • Independent security audits (where applicable)
  • Proof of reserves (where applicable)
  • Historical performance
  • Strategy documentation
  • Risk metrics
  • Manager information

Custody arrangements, governance, and operational controls are disclosed on a vault-by-vault basis prior to investment.

What are the fees?

Each vault on QMC Finance sets its own fee structure.

Typical fees may include:

  • Management Fee — an annual fee based on assets under management.
  • Performance Fee — charged only on realized profits generated by the vault.
  • Deposit Fee – charged on deposits
  • Withdraw Fee – charged on redemptions
  • Blockchain Network Fees — standard gas fees paid to the underlying blockchain when depositing or withdrawing.

All fees are published transparently on each vault’s page before you invest. There are no hidden charges, and fee schedules cannot be changed retroactively for existing investments.

This allows strategy managers to compete on both performance and pricing while giving investors complete transparency.

Can I withdraw at any time?

Most vaults on QMC Finance are designed to offer on-chain liquidity, allowing investors to withdraw whenever the vault’s liquidity policy permits.

For liquid strategies, withdrawals are typically processed directly through the smart contract and settle according to the underlying blockchain’s confirmation times.

However, withdrawal availability ultimately depends on the individual vault. Certain strategies may include redemption windows, notice periods, or lock-up terms.

Each vault clearly displays its:

  • Liquidity profile
  • Withdrawal policy
  • Redemption schedule
  • Any applicable lock-up periods

Investors always know the liquidity terms before depositing.
